so far its fedor vs rogers, mayhem vs shields, and also mousasi and the womens champ cyborg santos will be fighting as well... the last cbs mma event had kimbo headlining had over 5 million viewers, which is a lot lol... dana already stated that he wont be able to counter-program the event because of rampage jackson deciding to do the a-team movie instead of fighting rashad unless they put on a re-run of a past ufc event, so if they can manage to pull in that many viewers than a lot of the fighters in ea mma will be getting some GREAT exposure in the states... i bet that put a smile on ea's face when they heard this news :)

3.0 to 4.0, they can be really high if they can market Fedor, the way they marketed Kanbo. I hope they do a 24/7 style show.

lol yep, counting on it. I got to say though I'm a bit weary of Fedor these days, I mean if there is one thing Fedor does its completely overcome nasty situations, like with Randleman, Coleman, Arlovski. I'll never forget how he pounded out Nogueira all night long and Nogueira couldn't so much as even come close to securing a submission and all from the guard.
Alot of people say A Silva is the best, I think he the most capable/versatile, but Fedor has something special. And we all know that it should be no losses and 2 no contests, but before Arlovski threw the knee and got KO'd, dude he was giving Fedor some serious problems. Brett Rogers may not be that great of a HW, but hes big and punches like a mule.
Whish Fedor was more active, to me thats his only disadvantage he will ever have in a fight. Still think he'll win of course, doesn't he have a 3 fight deal with strikeforce? I hope can get out of the contractual obligations hes tied to after them and get into the UFC. They just got everyone now and are putting up great cards left and right.
|||Advertising advertising and more advertising, its great for guys like us who know who and how great a fighter Fedor is but the mainstream, casual MMA fan wont know so the message should start now...
Oh yeah and i read a great post on here about making a 24/7 show about fedor.. i think thats an excellent idea, it wud bring abit of a connection to the fans and intrest 4 da fight.
