Biggest UFC let down

I saw this topic on the forums on UFC website and the guys on there had some good ones.
Some major let downs in my opinion would be
1) Cro-Cop coming to the UFC.. I thought he would demolish the heavyweights I guess I was kinda wrong.
2)Anderson Silva vs Thales Leites at UFC 97 Redemption
3)Anderson Silva vs Patrick Cote at UFC 90
4)A.Silva/Forrest was a pretty big letdown...
5)Rashad/Rampage not happening(at least not now)
I was wondering what you guys think the biggest letdown was in your opinion? out of anything whether it be a fight or a decision.|||

Yeah, but this one was damn epic because it showed us all just what Anderson can do when he's in the mood to absolutely put an embarrassment on someone haha.. I'd have to give a vote to Lesnar getting sick too, I'm not a big fan of his his, but that Gorilla was just starting to look a little more respectable before he got.. whatever the hell he has.|||I agree with the Silva/Forrest comment. I am a big Forrest Griffin fan and that was not so much a let down as an eye opener. That was a clinic, pure and simple.
Heath Herrings debut vs. Irish Jake O'Brien. That one was kinda sad.|||Lyoto Machida vs Shogun Rua.
The judges were off and neither fighter came out of the gates like I expected.
My other big letdown was Rampage vs Evans being called off. I really wanted to see these two bang.
Biggest letdown in the fight world at large right now though is the cancellation of the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight.|||Their inability to secure Fedor for 1 fight.
Sure, I blame M-1 Global's need for co-promotion but it was still a failure nonetheless.|||I really liked the Shogun/Machida fight. Only the decision by the judges was any sort of let down for me. But judges are judges...
When it comes to let downs and fights, I find that my biggest let downs happen when one fighter (for whatever reason) just does not appear to put a good effort in. Getting beat by an opponent is one thing, getting beat because you don't seem to be ready or willing to compete is a let down. Diego Sanchez against Josh Kozcheck for example. Nightmare did not seem to have any sort of plan and looked lost in the ring because he was afraid to go to the ground against Koz. That was disappointing.

Can't win them all I guess lol.
Still, it helped out StrikeForce alot and hopefully the greater good will come of it. Lesnar got sick anyways, so seeing him and Brock fight may not have been able to happen at that point even if they DID sign him. Besides, Fedor would own Brock imo.|||the shogun/machida fight was a big let down, not by the fighters but by the judges
cro cop is another big one, i thought for sure when he came to the ufc he was gonna be the next hw champion, and then he fought gonzaga
another one for me is wanderlei, all of his fights have been great in the ufc so far, but him not being able to get the wins is dissapointing (wandy's my all time fav :) )|||ufc 94 was fairly dissappointing.... 1 fught over before the end of round 3 as well as BJ not coming in in shape, we got to see the diff in GSP though|||fedor not joining the ufc|||Silva/Leites... because seriously, wtf was that!?!?!? Silva just sorta sent out probing shots all fights and Leites ran like a girl, pulling guard and butt scooting most of the fight, I get it, you're a fantastic jui-jitsu artist, but this is MMA, you WILL have to stand up and fight eventually. Thank god they booted him from the UFC for that garbage, oh well, maybe he'll come around in the MFC where he won't fight someone like The Spider|||Shogun rua vs machida...theres something wrong with the ufc|||

Yeah, pretty much Shinya Aoki's M.O. as well, yet some people in here think he'd actually have a chance against the Prodigy lol.|||

Not quite the same though, Aoki tries to entice you in like a giant squirmy worm to a fish, and then can slap on a crazy sub out of nowhere when you get close, in the fight with Leites though, he just did it because he was * scared.
