“There’s no doubt Miller is a very good fighter; anybody who can go five rounds with Jake Shields is a good fighter, but his record for his last five fights is not really something to boast that much about. It’s not really a win-win situation for Nick to go to 185 just because Miller is just making a challenge.
If you want to call out the champion, that means you’re prepared to go to his weight, if you’re not prepared, don’t call him out. If he just wants to fight Nick, come by the academy and Nick will oblige him on the spot, at any weight.”|||lmao Nick Diaz looks even more fake now taht he's got his BJJ trainer standing up for him how pathetic
You scared homie! Besides Cesar it was Nick who attacked Mayhem and wanted to fight him not the other way around. Its not mayhem's fault Nick has gone into hidding|||
Cause it makes sense for Diaz to fight a middleweight non contender when he is the welter weight champ.... :) Strikeforce never offered the fight to Diaz anyways.|||

^^^
This. Mayhem wants to fight Diaz, then cut the weight and earn the shot at the WW title. Really, Mayhem just wants to be in the spotlight when he's undeserving.|||

This exactly, Why should Nick move down to fight him? Miller called him out.|||

So?Does it make sense for Shields to fight for the MW title when he did considering he was a WW?Did it make sense for Rogers to get a title shot after a loss?Did it make sense for King Mo to go after the LHW title after being a HW contender?Did it make sense for Mousasi to fight for the LHW title when he's a natural MW?Did it make sense for Feijao to get a title shot? What about Mousasi fighting Sokodjou that wasn't for the title. No none of those made sense but they all happened. Besides Strikeforce can make a TON of money off this fight something you wont get with Nick Diaz vs KJ Noons..also did that fight make sense to happen? No. Besides Nick Diaz has fought in dream not putting his belt on the line so why should it even matter? Hell strikeforce wants to do Batista vs Lashley...if the fans will show up they'll do it. I think people need to stop trying to make excuses for Diaz not to fight Mayhem lol|||I don't want to see a three round fight between these two. This fight begs to be five rounds and it's pointless if it isn't. Maybe Miller should get the MW belt first and offer Diaz a title shot before he calls him out.|||Mayhem has fought at WW and MW. So has Diaz.
Diaz and his camp seem to have never heard of.... a CATCH WEIGHT fight... Diaz had no problem doing that to face Shamrock oreven Scott Smith. Diaz is scared because Shields is the better fighter between Diaz and Shields and "Mayhem" went 5 rounds and almost put Shields away. Then Diaz saw that "Jacare" couldn't submit "Mayhem". Diaz does not have the submission skills that "Jacare" has.
Diaz is just scared. He will talk all the * he wants and even jump you when you arn't looking but when it comes to backing up his * he is no where to be found.
As for who is the better fighter discussion.... They have the exact same records except "Mayhem" has an extra fight with an extra win. "Mayhem" has faced tougher opponents in guys like GSP, Sonnen & Shields. Opposed to the top guys Diaz has fought Sherk, Sanchez & Noons. They both have a common opponent in Lawlar which they both won.
If they ever do face off, Jason Miller will beat the hell out of Diaz.|||Yes, come by the academy mayhem so we can all gang up on you and leave you unconscious on the side of the road. We all know how it ends when you visit a gracie owned dojo with the intention of proving a point.

^^ LMFAOOO! Who's that?
Yoji Anjoh, a shoot style pro wrestler from the UWF who had the brilliant idea of taking a plane with a bunch of journalists to challenge Rickson in his own dojo, when Rickson tried to turn the challenge into an opportunity to make the fight happen in a licensed event. Yoji Anjoh doubted his honor and well, then Rickson kicked the journalists out, choked Anjoh unconscious. When he woke up he was outside of the dojo and his face looked like this.

Yoji later fought Ryan Gracie in Pride, the fight was horrible lol
But the pre-fight video had a lot of history.

what do you expect when you storm a dojo?? ESPECIALLY a Gracie's??
You show up challenging someone in their Dojo with Media following you?? got what he deserved IMO. IIRC, Anjoh called him & his family name & JJ out but Rickson stated he had no interest in fighting a pro wrestler who competed in 'worked' fights. Hearing this, Anjoh flies to US & storms Rickson's Gracie Academy & questions his honor. Rickson then immediately agrees to fight.
thats how sh*t was handled back in the day, Rickson doesn't 'jump' Anjoh. He works him over like he had every right to do IMO. again, expect nothing less if you storm a Dojo. This was the way of the game back then. many, many stories of Gracie street fights & such over sh*t like this.
Days later, Anjoh returns to Gracie's Academy bringing gifts & aplogizing for his challenge. end of story.|||wow, it's not like Diaz asked Ceasar to say anything, Ceasar is sticking up for his students like a good sensei should. Miller is angry about getting kicked in the head, so if he just wants to fight Diaz he should take Ceasar up on his offer and be done with it. If he wants it to be a strikeforce title fight or something, that just means that he's an attention *.|||
end of story.
In fact, it was only the beginning of the UWF/Takada Dojo vs. The Gracie Family feud.
