Who is your favorite MMA fighter?
Who is your favorite MMA fighter and why?|||Fedor,
He's a very small heavyweight ( Check out the pictures of him and top Lightweight Shinya Aoki to see how small Fedor really is.), he's constantly oversized, out strengthed etc. but always finds a way to win.
He's fast, strong, humble and exciting. He's faced the best of the best for his entire career and is the best fighter of all time.
Others: Dan Henderson, Sergei Kharitonov, Hatsu Hioki, Michiro Omigawa, Alistair Overeem, Miguel Torres , Takeya Mizugaki, Shinichi Kojima, Rua Bros and Nogueira Bros.|||Kimbo Slice, I like his hairstyle....lol! Rashad Evans explosive and he has heart...so far.|||I will probably get lynched but I really like Machida (Cung Le aswell btw).
His unorthodox style is different from what you see at every event and is what, in my opinion, is what MMA is all about.
I know alot of people find him boring, but I find him a very exiciting fighter.|||
Machida is by far one of my favorite fighters. I'm also a big GSP fan. All-in-all, Fedor Emelianenko is my #1 P4P.|||My two cents
EA Sports should most definitely wait till the contract between UFC and THQ is done

been seeing alot for commercials for hd fight net so i checked if it was available for direct tv it is and its available under my channel package too but i do not have the channel anyways im wondering if i call and request it will they charge me for the channel if so how much?? .. also do you need to have hd to watch it??|||Very good question bro! FiveOuncesofPain.com has recently been able to comfirm through sources close to the situation that a middleweight slugfest between Melvin Manhoef and Robbie Lawler is currently on the table, and is expected to take place on the “Strikeforce: Miami” card set for January 30 from Miami, Florida.
While nothing has been signed as of this writing, FiveOuncesofPain.com was able to confirm that the bout has been offered, and is expected to be signed by at least one of the fighters shortly.
Former ICON Sport and EliteXC middleweight champion, Robbie Lawler, will making his first return to action since a disappointing first round submission defeat at the hands of current Strikeforce 185 pound title holder, Jake Shields in June 6, 2009. Prior to the loss at the hands of Shileds, Lawler had gone undefeated in his previous six bouts with big wins over the likes of Joey Villasenor, Frank Trigg, Murilo “Ninja” Rua and Scott Smith along the way.
Manhoef is fresh off of what could be considered the biggest win of his career, as the 5?8? beast from Holland most recently flattened the highly regarded Kazuo Misaki during the year end “Dynamite!! 2009? card. “No Mercy” has put together 23 wins by knockout out of his 24 victories, making him one of the most feared strikers in the sport.
Lawler was previously expected to take part in the “Strikeforce: Evolution” card that took place on December 19, but an opponent was not able to be secured in time for the event.

Brandon Regional Health Authority Smacks Back At Brock

She may give up several inches and a few pounds to UFC star Brock Lesnar, but the CEO of Brandon's regional health authority is taking on the martial-arts brute and his bruising views on Canadian health-care system.
“I take real exception to being referred to as a third-world country operation,” said Carmel Olson, responding Thursday to comments from Mr. Lesnar, the venom-spewing, bone-breaking heavyweight champion of the UFC.
On Wednesday, Mr. Lesnar marked his return to the octagon after a lengthy digestive ailment by slamming the medical treatment he received while visiting Brandon, Man. “It was like a Third World country,” he said of Brandon Regional Hospital. “My wife saved me. She got me out of there and drove 100 miles per hour to get me down to Bismarck, N.D.”
He was reportedly visiting Manitoba to hunt with his brother, who lives in the area. But when his painful diverticulitis flared up, he drove three hours to check into Brandon's hospital, a modern facility that serves much of western Manitoba and south-eastern Saskatchewan. But he quickly found that it wasn't up to his standard. “They had some machinery that wasn't working and couldn't do its job,” he said. “I needed to have [tests] done, so we went where they could be done.”
But Ms. Olson disputes the 6-foot-3 former wrestling star's version of events.

“The attending physician was very qualified and very respected,” she said. “He's been in the business for more than 30 years. And he has the skills to diagnose a condition such as diverticulitis without a CT scan.”
She added that the Brandon facility deals with diverticulitis on a regular basis and that Mr. Lesnar was never misdiagnosed.
“We have checked this particular health record and were are quite confident that the correct diagnosis was given and the best course of treatment offered,” she said. “We have state-of-art equipment here. We are hardly a one-horse operation.”
She was flummoxed as to why the Mr. Lesnar took such exception to Brandon.
“Who knows, maybe he didn't like the bill.”
Towards the end of his press conference, Mr. Lesnar admitted that his comments were partly motivated by the ongoing political debate in the U.S. “The reason I'm saying that is because there's millions of people that don't want health care reform and I'm one of them,” he said. “I'm not a believer in socialism and I don't want that going on.”
After visiting Bismarck, he was transferred to the famed Mayo Clinic, a facility he said was superior to Brandon's hospital, an assertion that doesn't surprise Ms. Olson.

its definatly a truthful article, ive read it on several websites... i dont think he should've critisized the entire canadian healthcare system over a bad trip to 1 hospital though, especially on sportscenter which is one of the most popular shows in the states

I saw a Blu-ray release for UFC: Rampage Greatest Hits is also being released. I guess everyone is happy again.
