Is this done intentionally? Will it be that way in the final build? I hope this (minor) issue is adressed. It seems like it would be an easy fix.|||really? I havent played the demo.. but the jab is as good as the right straight? yea right. It kinda is on Undisputed also i think. Jab and straight are pretty useless in Undisputed actually|||
Not many "real" fighters have equal punching power in both hands.. In the demo every1 does have equal punching power in both hands.

if this is the case, its a HUGE oversight.|||no this is very wrong. on the demo the power hand (back one) in the stance hits harder right straights are more powerful than jabs and left hooks are slightly weaker then right hooks. also jab and straight IMO are effective on demo both are my most used punches|||that's not the point
look at the stats, they have equal power in both hands
which is not very realistic
most people aren't even ambidextrous let alone have exactly the same power in each hand
so if you're right handed with a normal stance and switch to southpaw
your powerhand could very well be your front (right) hand (depending on the difference in strength between hands and which strike you throw)
would be cool to add to this the game, could add more depth to the striking|||

honestly i cant think of any fighters who that is true of arm punches dont do much power is in you legs giving your backhand more power.|||only fighter in that demo in the hw div. that has equal power in both hands is overeem...

you can throw strong strikes from your lead hand
anderson silva knocked out forrest griffin with a jab
just don't throw arm punches.
yes, generally speaking anything thrown from the backhand has more power
but that doesn't mean lead punches don't do much (as you said)
especially if you use your powerhand for them by switching stances
and the strength of a punch isn't just in it's physical force of impact
being able to deliver strong punches with your lead hand has many other advantages (different angle, shorter distance etc.)
|||It depends on how you stand too. In Bas' big dvds of combat he likes a more open stance to allow almost equal power from both hands instead of a more traditional stance. Everyone is different though and has to find what works for them.
